On Thursday, April 7th we’ll celebrate former Summer Music Festival performer Janis Ian’s 60th birthday with some music spanning her career throughout the day and also spotlight her CD Between The Lines as our 3pm Discumentary.
In addition to the previously announced live In-Studio performance by Peter Murphy at 1pm on April 6, William Fitzsimmons will be live on-air at 1pm on Tuesday, April 5.

We’ll be celebrating the life of John Lennon on the 30th anniversary of his death, December 8. Midday Host Mike Sauter presents “John Lennon: A Life in Song” featuring Lennon rarities and tribute songs.
At 6pm, tune in for the national program, “The Day John Lennon Died” featuring fans recalling how they heard the news of John Lennon’s death in 1980, and what Lennon’s music has meant to them.

Writers, Reporters, Musicians and Beatle fans share their impressions of some standout John Lennon songs, recorded with The Beatles, between 1963 and 1970.
