Details on Tomorrow’s Summer Music Festival
This Friday, June 25 is WYEP ‘s Summer Music Festival at Schenley Plaza- the forecast looks good, the line-up is all set, and we’ve got the details you need to plan your evening.
Visit the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy’s website to get directions to the Plaza. Take a PAT bus, ride your bike, walk, or carpool to the show. Besides nearby on-street parking, there’s the Carnegie Museum lot, as well as other nearby parking garages.
4pm: Kids Area and I Made It! Market Open
Shop for local crafts at I Made It! Market Mini beneath the trees by the Carnegie Library. A portion of the proceeds benefit WYEP.
Visit the the Kids Area by the carousel:
Enjoy the play area provided by IKEA Pittsburgh.
Play drums and sing with Music Together @ WYEP.

4:30pm: See a live puppet show performed inside the Carnegie Library.
5-7pm: Get your photo taken with a ballerina from Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and enter to win tickets to The Three Musketeers.
5:30pm: Visit the WYEP tent to buy a brand new festival t-shirt, become a New or Renewing Member, and see what else we’re up to this summer.

9:40pm Nicole Atkins & the Black Sea
The Schenley Plaza food kiosks will be open and ready for business, and feel free to bring your own cooler.
